2025年8月19日、名大研究の「今」を味わう新企画「ランチタイム・フロントライン」が始動！お昼休みにお昼ごはんを食べながら、本日の研究者シェフの研究トークを囲みました。
第１回の研究者シェフは、笠原竜四郎（かさはら りゅうしろう）さん（名古屋大学 生物機能開発利用研究センター 准教授）。植物のタネの赤ちゃん「胚珠（はいしゅ）」の研究者です。
今回のメインストーリーは、植物にも「へその緒」が見つかったという、笠原さんの最新の研究成果。研究のきっかけから、160年ぶりの新組織発見に至るまでの試行錯誤、将来的な農業や医療への応用まで、笠原さんの語りと参加者の問いが交差した40分間を、ほぼノーカットでお届けします。
