Book Five — A COLLECTION OF RHAPSODIC RANTS

This book is a personal account of an individual life from the inside out. Living through these 24 thousand days and nights have taken form as a collection of emotional rants, stories, and perspectives.

Presented are personal descriptions that have filled my mind, challenged my heart, and confused my soul. What is revealed is an awkward sensitivity that mirrors the betrayal of an early trust that began on thin ice and then drowned in its own creative assumptions about the world.

In the expanse of the unknown, and in the wake of each repetitive torment, there is a seed that looks for invitation. And, when this seed germinates, the magic becomes its own destiny, and the constellation of desperate rants become gentle husks in the wind. Having the support to endure through dense times of despair prior to such moments is monumental, brutal, and beautiful.

This collection of written descriptions is in no logical or linear sequence, as each theme rises up, and drifts away on its own. Each and every day of my life, these themes have tenaciously contributed to the defining and shaping of the unknown as it has shown itself. There can be, of course, a fondness to meaningful events gone by. However, they are also not very helpful in bringing about a beginner’s mind to new experience. So, these personal rants are being gently lifted into the wind, no longer hiding in fear and loneliness. They are each the birthright of a becoming that needs no bounds, no desires, and no acquiescence.

Each of these lived descriptions are short vignettes that attempt to survive the human experience with compassion, and a modicum of understanding. A welcomed result would be to clear the way for new ideas and to dance in the ecstasy of each new moment.
