Phillip G.D. Jones, a debut novelist whose real name is Gavin Douglas, started writing as a personal challenge on his bucket list.

Gavin, a retired senior officer of the Royal Air Force, served in the military for thirty-two years before going on to work in the defense sector. His distinct life experiences have influenced his storytelling, giving it nuance, passion, and a profound comprehension of human nature.

Gavin and his wife, Lizzie, have four grown boys between them who reside in the UK. He likes to explore new artistic adventures, including writing, rock drumming, and motorcycle trail riding in his free time. Nathan Cartwright's Week to Remember marks his exciting debut into the literary world.
