Scripture reminds us this is part of walking with Christ. Second Timothy 3:12 tells us that all who desire to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. Ephesians 6:11 reminds us to put on the whole armor of God, so that we may stand against the schemes of the devil. Isaiah 41:10 comforts us with God’s promise to strengthen and help us. And First Peter 1:7 teaches us that faith tested like gold in the fire comes out stronger and pure.
