Today we are joined by Lauren Gawne. Lauren is a Senior Lecturer in linguistics at La Trobe University. Her work focuses on understanding how people use gestures and grammar, with a particular focus on cross-cultural gesture use. Lauren also does research on emoji, scicomm and the grammar of Tibetan languages in Nepal. [Sept 8, 2025]
