JB has been writing and creating stories for as long as she can remember. Even as a child, words were her favorite playmates, her closest confidantes, and her first love. This many-faceted relationship with words led her to a three-decade career as a high school English, Creative Writing, and Speech/Debate teacher. Her students became her muses (and often, her characters!). After 30 years in the public high school trenches, JB Caine retired in 2023 to follow her dream of becoming a full-time novelist.
