The Rays lose their 2nd straight game to the Cleveland Guardians 3-2. The Guardians would open the scoring with 2 runs in the 4th inning to make the game 2-0. The Rays would be chasing those two runs for the next few innings. They got one of them back on a Josh Lowe homer in the bottom of the 5th. Yandy Diaz would score Tristian Gray from 3rd on a fielders choice in the 6th to tie the game. The game would remain tied until the 9th inning. Cleveland would scratch across a run to make it 3-2. The Rays could not answer in the bottom of the 9th to pick up their 2nd straight loss. Shane Baz started for the Rays and was solid. He would go 5 IP striking out 8 only giving up 2 runs. The Rays will look to go for a series split tomorrow afternoon.
