2 Approaches for Covering Distance
Either walk the whole way or alternating the walk and run
1. Walk Faster – How To
Walk with intent
Focus - if mind drifts off, you'll slow down
Keep track of your times - miles or km’s or whatever distance
Arms control speed of legs
Keep arms bent at 90 degree – they will move faster and so will legs
2. Alternate between walking and running
Keys to the Walk / Run Alternating Pattern
Focus on walk
If alternating – Primary focus in the walk. Walk with intent and focus, maintain speed.
Wrong Mindset - Running is primary with periods of walking as rest (causes you to walk slowly)
Correct Mindset - Walking is primary and use running to speed up the walk.
