 Die German International School Sydney (GISS) hat in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Bundesligaverein Borussia Dortmund ihre neue Fußballakademie feierlich eröffnet. Neben Schülern, Eltern und Lehrern waren auch hochrangige Gäste wie der deutsche Generalkonsul in Sydney, Felix Schwarz, Vertreter des BVB sowie Sydney FC vor Ort. Ziel des Programms ist es, Kindern nicht nur fußballerische Fähigkeiten zu vermitteln, sondern auch Werte wie Teamgeist, Respekt und Disziplin. Der Eröffnung folgte dann eine feierliche Hafenrundfahrt in Schwarz-Gelb.
