About this listen
On this week’s episode, host Caryn Antonini is joined by Alex Gomberg, Vice President of Brooklyn Selzer Boys, a family run business now in its fourth generation. Alex is currently the youngest seltzer man in the United States, the owner of the last remaining seltzer shop in New York City, and his company is one of only three siphon seltzer bottling plants left in the country. Originally operating as Gomberg Selzer Works, Brooklyn Seltzer Boys is the latest iteration of their seltzer business, and under Alex’s helm, they offer a home delivery service as well as delivery for bars and restaurants, constantly adapting to the future of the seltzer water industry. Alex also owns the Brooklyn Seltzer Museum which celebrates the long, rich history of the seltzer culture and his family’s operation in Brooklyn.
