About this listen

Ismail, Rob and Carly are back at it once again. The team took a week off to allow Rob to rest, but they are back and they are once again ready to talk hockey.

Happy Belated Canada Day to all our listeners up in Canada. On top of celebrating your country, the NHL had their Free Agency Frenzy, which was nothing short of interesting and exciting for some teams.

The team recaps some of the best and questionable contract signings, who we are excited to see and even touches on those who have not signed a new contract.

On top of Free Agency, the team dives headfirst into the trades leading up to July 1st. Talking about Mitch Marner, Trevor Zegras and Evander Kane.

On top of new contracts, the team is ready to discuss the 2026 Olympics and the rosters of four countries and their selections from the NHL.

The 2025 NHL Draft has come and gone, and the team talks about Matthew Schaefer, who was selected No.1 by the New York Islanders. As well as the layout of this year's draft, questionable celebrities and what they should do in the future.

Rob brings up the new rules for the NHL, including 84 games and no dress code for players. This causes quite a stir.

The team completes the show with their rants, while Ismail does not have one for this episode, be on the lookout for two rants from him next week.

Thanks for listening.
