Publisher's Summary

As an a'ani warrior, my life matters little. Cloned from the same matter as thousands of others, I am but one of many. Here on the ice planet, though, I can start over. I can become my own person, have my own needs, my own wants.

I know what I want. I have known since the moment I arrived.

Her name is Angie. She is human, with sad, lonely eyes, and a very pregnant belly. To her, I am not just another clone. I am Vordis, the one who laughs at her jokes, tends to her needs, and makes her smile. I will do anything to make her mine.

But my brother and fellow clone Thrand thinks the same way, and he's just as determined to win her. Will I have to destroy my bond with my brother to win my female? Or will he cause a rift between us that's impossible to mend?

Contains mature themes.

The Alien Perspective on Dating

I love the whole series! Fantastic world building that describes how stranded modern women integrate into a tribal culture of tall, hot, and build, matter of fact aliens - all wrapped up with a steamy sexy sweet romance. The characters are all unique throughout the whole series. Some books have more action then others, which focus more on tribal life and personal struggles. I can't even pick one book as my favourite - I'm afraid you'll have to read them all including the original series 'Ice Planet Barbarians'. Fantastic male/ female narrators for the audiobook version too.

Yes!!! 👏👏👏

This book was fun and hilarious. Would be great as an tv series on Showtime or HBO or cinemax maybe cause of the adult theme but for female audience 😉. It kept my interest the whole way through and was totally worth the credit. If u dont have a credit to spare then totally worth the money 💰👌

Great Story, Great Narration

I’m a big Ruby Dixon fan, so I won’t expound on her incredible storytelling abilities. (She’s incredible.) I enjoyed this audiobook version mainly because these narrators are new to me and they seemed to match the characters so well. While I love listening to previous narrators (Loyd and Jackson), these two were great for a change up.

very enjoyable

I really enjoyed this book. It was very nice and I liked the story line. The sex was very light which is a change. I liked the voices of the people. All in all it was a good buy well worth the credit spent.

Fun and sexy

Ruby Dixon gives the heat and the humor along with the HEA It's getting to that point that is enjoyable. if I can listen to a narrator and not has to change the speed or anything that's a 5 star Thanks for the new series and the humorous and heated resonance pairings.

By far my favorite narrator combo

Love love love Ruby’s books I’ve. been reading her books since the first Barbarian came out and was instantly hooked, and the books just keep getting better! I love how swoon worthy Vordis is and how the two narrators give life to the characters, makes it a great listen for my commute, I could listen to them individually or together all day! I vote they keep getting paired for her books they killed it!

Book was good. Voice narrative, not so much.

I enjoyed the book, definitely liked how this story was different than her blue people books. But I felt like I much rather have read it instead of listened to it. The way Felicity did her male voice just made the whole thing cringe worthy for me. That was the only down fall for me. Noelle Bridges should do all Ruby Dixon books in my opinion.

Great characters!

This story starts of with an earth woman waking up from stasis pregnant- and not knowing how she got that way. She also has two gladiator clone brothers as her fierce protectors. The story develops as one clone falls in love with her band she struggles through her challenges with being mysteriously pregnant. Character development is excellent and is the main focus of this story. Intensely steamy scenes, 18+ crowd only. The narrated version is top notch and makes this book even more amazing. Sometimes it is hard in an audio book to tell when the character is thinking vs. talking. These voice actors do a good job of separating the two, as well as using different accents and voices for the myriad of characters.

To much doubt

This isn't really my favorite series from Ruby Dixon. I enjoyed fire blood dragon series better. female lead in this book was too doubtful about what her love interest Felt for her, it was a little annoying. but it did have its moments of humor. The paired narrators were great and Sean Crisden voice for this character is so sexy.

Another Good Ruby Story

I really enjoy this series. Each book adds so much depth to the overall story and I really appreciate that this series still doesn’t feel stale or that it’s nothing more than a cash grab. I look forward to each couples story and it’s a real credit to Ruby Dixon that even though I don’t love every character her writing is good enough that I’m still fully engaged. The narration was difficult for me in this book. The male narrator did an awesome job and I really enjoyed his performance. The female narrator struggled a lot with the male voices and to me sounded a lot like Cookie Monster. She’s also the type of narrator that makes every side female character sound like a nasally whiney 80’s valley girl. I also didn’t like the breathy barley above a whisper voice she did for Angie. I can’t recommend this series enough. I highly recommend anything Ruby Dixon writes.
