"مترو حلب" حكاية كلّ أولئك السوريين الذين وجد كلّ واحدٍ منهم نفسه أمام خيارين أحلاهما مرّ فإما أن يختار البقاء في بلده تحت خطر الموت أو الهجرة إلى دولة غريبة لا يعرف ماذا ينتظره فيها..

تبدأ أحداث الرواية بمكالمة مفاجئة تكتشف من خلالها البطلة أن لها خالة تحمل اسم الأم، وللأم اسم مختلف لا تعرفه. وقد أخبرتها سابقاً أن الخالة ميتة إلا أنها تظهر الآن وهي تعيش في باريس وتطلب من البطلة أن تحقق آخر أمنياتها برؤيتها وقضاء بعض الوقت معها.

فتغادر البطلة إلى باريس بعد إلحاح الأم والأب الشديدين، في باريس وبعد موت الخالة تكتشف البطلة حياة جديدة، وتنبع داخلها التساؤلات: من تكون أمها؟ ومن تكون خالتها؟ ومن هي أساساً؟ ولماذا هي هنا الآن في باريس.

الحرب في حلب شتت العائلة بين قتيل وشريد وطريد. والشوق للوطن وتمزق الهوية الداخلية والخارجية يعلقان البطلة في مترو لا تعرف أين وجهته باريس أم حلب؟!! صراع الحرب والهوية والشغف والأمومة والحنين والخيانة والوفاء وأسئلة أخرى تواجهنا في هذا المترو...
