When 14-year-old Zoe Johnson doesn't come home on a Monday night in early December, the alarm bells in Kings Lake Central police station do not ring straight away - after all, she's from the Dockmills, one of the toughest estates in the town.

What a well written series this is. It’s so fantastic I can’t stop reading them. This ending is rather sad. I do hope it’s not the last.

I do suggest reading them in the correct order as reference is made to the previous cases.

Continuing Smith's grind to retirement. I really live the cleverness and literality of this character . I think we share some personality features , and both get on peoples nerves sometimes !.
