It’s taken me a little while to gather my thoughts enough to tell you how completely wonderful this story is. Not in the traditional way, but in a messy, heart wrenching and chaotic way that delves into all nuances of love, lust, friendship and heartbreak. A love letter to Whiskey is real, raw and emotional, it follows B and Jamie through their teens into adulthood. They are so madly in love with each other, but timing is NEVER on their side so they can never be together 🥹
Man am I glad that a fifth anniversary edition was released to reveal the conclusion, because if the letter to Whiskey was actually ‘The End’ my heart would have shattered to pieces. This book will draw you in and destroy you in the most beautiful way 💔
This will now sit atop my highly recommended for all of time 🥹🥹🥹

This was an excellent read. I felt like I was in a washing machine with all the emotions. B and Jamie had me wondering if their relationship was worth all the heartache it brought them. But true love wins in the end.

loved everything about this book, the story is so full of every emotion. love, anger, heartache, funny and is so beautiful. l am glad this addition was released it just explains the ending perfectly. l especially liked the notes at the very end. The narrators are perfect and I fell in love with Jamie ( whiskey )

This book had popped up in recommendations so many times that I decided to purchase the anniversary edition. Not only did it resuscitate me out of a book numbing state (where everything I had been reading felt the same) but this edition did not leave me hanging. I had the beauty of hearing B’s story and Jamie’s story. No stone was left unturned and because of this I know that no matter how many books follow it, I will never forget the characters or the way I was pulled into their story. I devoured (and will no doubt return to devour) every last drop.
