one of my favorites
Everything about the book is masterfully done. The story, clever word twists and the flow of story. End up loving even the villains due to their uniqueness.

Abercrombie is back with a vengeance.
Thoroughly enjoyed Steven Pacey's reading of this Abercrombie book. Meeting the elder arch lector, shivers, and a few of the other northern members from earlier novels was a delight and fitted in well with the storyline. Looking forward to the next in the series.

Brilliant
So much to say about this wonderful brilliant book, but my words simply aren’t good enough. Truly a fantastic series with this book leading us beautifully on with new characters and new directions yet still maintaining the old. Once again superbly read by the amazing narrator Steven Pacey.

Joe Abercrombie is the best
I absolutely loved this book. Found it difficult to put put down. Abercrombie is quite simply one of the best fantasy writers out there, so many lol moments. His characters internal dialogue is so cleverly done and it provides so much to character development.
