About this listen

Newly recorded for the 10th anniversary of A Court of Thorns and Roses

The 10th anniversary edition recording of the first book in the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series from global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas, who handpicked narrator and friend Elizabeth Evans to bring these characters to life due to her intimate understanding of Sarah’s storytelling

A tender addition to the #1 bestselling Court of Thorns and Roses series by global phenomenon Sarah J. Maas, bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin and A Court of Silver Flames

Feyre, Rhysand, and their friends are still busy rebuilding the Night Court and the vastly altered world beyond, recovering from the war that changed everything. But Winter Solstice is finally approaching, and with it, the joy of a hard-earned reprieve.

Yet even the festive atmosphere can’t keep the shadows of the past from looming. As Feyre navigates her first Winter Solstice as High Lady, her concern for those dearest to her deepens. They have more wounds than she anticipated—scars that will have a far-reaching impact on the future of their court.

Bridging the events of A Court of Wings and Ruin with the later books in the series, A Court of Frost and Starlight explores the far-reaching effects of a devastating war and the fierce love between friends.

There wasn’t a whole lot of story here. Whilst I couldn’t put the previous ones down, this one took me ages to finish.

Loved the first ones, but this one was uneventful.

Not a very eventful book after the previous 3 but I think it will fill in lots of necessary details before book 5.

A necessary in between

I have been loving this series but this book compared to the others was so healing, I guess I mean that’s the theme for all the characters after the war. But it felt very quick and Mabye even rushed, like there was to much to say in the last book so let’s just chuck it in the next book.
I did really enjoy it the only bad thing about it is how short it is compared to the others and how the book feels like not like she wrote because of a desire to write but a desire to finish the story quicker. Which I guess is not that bad. All to say good book would recommend not that if your already in the serious you would stop because we all now how good these books are!

Good book
