تبدأ هذه الرواية باكتشاف "جاسر" وأصدقاؤه جثة غريبة لاشكل تشبه مومياوات الفراعنة وبعد البحث والتحرّي يكتشفون أنَّ لعنةً حلَّت على المكان وسببها انتهاك مقبرة أحد الكهنة وسرقة برديات "تحتوت"، من هنا تبدا المغامرة بتتبّع أسطورة الهرم ميدوم والعودة في الزمن إلى عصر الملك مرنتباح الذي لم يستطع قتل الحية الحارسة الكبرى فاستخدم الحيلة والخداع للتخلّص منها لكنَّ لعنة "حتحوت" لم تفارقه من يومها..فهل يستطيع "جاسر" بتعاونه مع "بدزميران" حارس البرديات إنهاء تلك اللعنة وإعادة البرديات إلى مكانها..

إنّها روايةٌ من نوعٍ آخر تنقلك إلى سحر الفراعنة وخرافاتهم وأساطيرهم الكثير عن طريق قصّة مشوِّقة وتفاصيل تاريخية ممتعة.
