I'm Wil Chan, which is kind of a pseudonym (like a lie with an element of truth in it). I'm a neophyte turned award-winning indie author hoping to leave a footprint in the sand. My real life is probably my least interesting aspect. Everything exceptional about me is in my books. For the background hunters, I was born in Hong Kong. The hospital was right in the middle of Triad territory. When I was a baby, I lived a stone's throw away from the Kowloon Walled City. And then I landed in England for my formative years before returning to HK as an adult. My writing comes from a myriad of hobbies, pastimes, and interests. Note, I am a nerd. My book world (and brand) is my character, Elysia Dayne. The books are influenced by the wuxia world of Jin Yong (Louis Cha), by way of western epic fantasy, with a splash of Xena: Warrior Princess!
