Tracey Corbett Lynch, Bestselling author of My Brother Jason was born and raised in Limerick, Ireland. After her brothers Murder, Tracey wrote My Brother Jason to respond publicly to the blatant attempts by the Martens to destroy her brothers’ character. After fighting for custody of the children from her brothers’ murder Molly Martens, Tracey is raising Jason’s children Jack and Sarah with their other children Dean and Adam in Limerick, Ireland. Molly and Thomas Martens were convicted of Jason’s murder in August 2017, and each sentenced to 25 years in prison. They continued to fight appeals by the Martens to have their convictions overturned. In 2021 the supreme court of North Carolina overturned the convictions and ordered a retrial of the Martens which will take place in 2022. Despite all this Corbett Lynch is keen that the book is a sign of hope that through the greatest of challenges, intense pain and turmoil, love can and will win and the human spirit can survive the greatest of challenges.
