I am a proud native Arkansan and the author of historical romance novels, contemporary romantic short stories, Christian short reads, poetry, and inspirational nonfiction. Her newest series include YA Fantasy, Cyber Technothrillers, and Murder Suspense. Whether writing about rugged cowboys, steadfast women of faith, or frontier brides navigating love and loss, Susie’s stories blend heart, heritage, and hope. Susie holds a B.S.E. from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro, Arkansas, and studied at Kansas Wesleyan University and Southern Arkansas University. When she’s not writing, she enjoys connecting with readers on social media, spending time with family, and drawing inspiration from the Ozarks and beyond. Some of her favorite authors include Pamela Morsi, Kathy Herman, Stephen Bly, Linda Lael Miller, Jan Karon, and Jodi Thomas—writers who, like Susie, believe in the power of redemptive love and resilient characters.
