STEVEN F. HOTZE, M.D., received his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School in 1976. In the 1980s he began to explore alternative ways to treat his father's heart disease, searching for real solutions beyond the drugs and surgery that had already failed his father. The safe, effective, nondrug treatments that he discovered revolutionized Dr. Hotze's approach to medicine. In 1989 Dr. Hotze founded the Hotze Health & Wellness Center in Houston, Texas, which is centered on listening to the patient and providing natural therapies, such as thyroid supplementation, bioidentical hormones, allergy immunotherapy, nutritional supplementation, and a balanced, healthful eating program.
