Rick Ellinger grew up attending church and Sunday School and committed his life to the Lord while in college. He has served as a deacon, adult Sunday School teacher and as an Awana leader. In his latest book, Demolishing Arguments, Rick hopes to prepare God's people with answers to common questions and misconceptions concerning the authority and accuracy of God’s Word. Rick's Sci-Fi trilogy, The Europa Project, is an exciting science fiction adventure for all ages. "Rescue to Europa", "Refuge on Europa" and "Return from Europa" are Christian-based, science fiction adventure novellas. Rick's Little Red Truck trilogy " A Little Red Truck Miracle", "A Little Red Truck Mystery", and "A Little Red Truck Marriage" are novelettes for all ages with spiritual themes and Biblical values throughout. "If I Had A Little Red Truck" is a children's book, written and illustrated by Rick. Rick's spiritual warfare book series, "Opposing Realms", is based on actual events from his own experiences in college. Encounter the spiritual realm and witness the power of prayer and God's Word as two realms collide. Rick's book, "The Gifts of the Guard", is a compilation of three stories, "A Cross for Christmas", "An Angel for Easter", and "A Story for the Sabbath", plus the sequel, "A Song for the Season". In "A Cross for Christmas", follow the experiences of a young boy as he discovers the true message of Christmas. In "An Angel for Easter", Rick shares the story of a young woman who has experienced rejection and abuse and desperately seeks love and acceptance. In "A Story for the Sabbath", the third volume of "The Gifts of the Guard" series, a young man's struggle in dealing with his suffering leads him to discover true purpose and meaning. In "A Song for the Season", find out how the stories all began ... in the most unlikely of places. "The Rule of the Referees" series is a Christian allegory with a powerful message for the church. Rick's desire is that each of his Christian books will lead the reader to a closer walk with the Lord, and that they will lead others to know Him personally. He also hopes his readers will give his books as gifts to those with whom they want to share the Gospel. The plan of salvation is shared in the back of each book. Rick also illustrated the Christian children's books written by his wife, Ruby Ellinger. They are titled "Rhino Rick's Adventures". Those books teach children to have Christ-like attitudes and to follow Biblical principles. The first one, "Arden Becomes an Encourager", is a full-color picture book. The second, "Five Lessons Learned on the Savannah", is a chapter book that contains all 5 stories and has black and white pictures throughout.
