Michele Hansen is an entrepreneur. She co-founded a software-as-a-service company, Geocodio, with her husband Mathias in 2014. Geocodio started as a small side project that made $31 its first month. Michele and Mathias grew Geocodio through revenue alone and Michele went full-time on the business in 2017. Prior to Geocodio, Michele was a product manager in financial publishing and a technical project manager at a web development agency. She is also part of the Software Social podcast, which she co-hosts with Colleen Schnettler. Software Social was a finalist for Best Podcast, Best Hosts, and Best Episode in the 2020 SaaS Podcast Awards. Michele is a frequent guest on other podcasts and has spoken at MicroConf and Laracon. Originally from the US, she lives with her husband, daughter and dog on a small farm in the Danish countryside. She enjoys reading, adult gymnastics, and talking to people about talking to people.
