Mary Kathleen Mehuron turns real landscapes into page-turning fiction. Her debut, 'Fading Past', earned critical acclaim for its “honest, memoir-like” storytelling; 'The Opposite of Never' was named a Brit+Co “Most Anticipated” release; 'The Belonger' drew on her family’s brush with a Category-Five hurricane on Grand Turk Island. Her newest novel, 'Down on the South Beach Drag', returns to the boardwalks of her Jersey-shore teen years. A three-decade veteran of the classroom, Mehuron also pens the weekly 'Take Me Back' column for Vermont’s Valley Reporter; proceeds from the column fund local-history projects in the Mad River Valley.
