Maria Borelius is an award winning science journalist. At 52 she experienced terrible backache, feeling blue and a general feeling of decline. This became the unexpected start of a new programme which healed her and lead towards a quest for new knowledge around the globe about something called an anti-inflammatory lifestyle. What she discovered whilst digging deeper with scientist, fitness experts and gurus, was the contour of a totally new way to optimize health, mind & soul. This became the basis for her book, Health Revolution which became a bestseller. She was born 1960 in Sweden, she has lived for more than 20 years in the UK and US. Columnist, podcaster, author, TV anchorwoman and consultant- Maria Borelius is passionate about making new science accessible, fun and relatable. Privately she is married to the same guy she met at university, has four kids and loves jazz, nature, cooking and reading great books. Borelius holds a Master of Science Journalism from New York University, US, a Bachelor of Science from Lund University, Sweden and a degree in TV production from Swedish Broadcasting company. She has also taken courses in gene technology and bioethics at Oxford University, UK.
