Mat Horton is a Special Effects Designer and dark narrative poet whose career spans more than four decades with over 70 IMDB movie credits. His cinematic eye has shaped the epic poetry he brings to life on the page.
For 20 years Mat has written vivid, atmospheric verse inspired by the darker parts of history, legend, tragedy and the human imagination.
His works include- Her Purple Past, The Woe of Roanoke, Bátorička and The Curse of the White Corsair.
His most ambitious project to date, The Rime of Arthur, is a sweeping 2,000 verse epic telling the complete Arthurian cycle, from Arthur’s mysterious origins and the rise of Camelot to Merlin, Gawain, Lancelot, Galahad, betrayal and the kingdom’s fall.
