L.A. Di Paolo is a tri-lingual, Canadian-born Italian-American who lives in Milton, Vermont. By day, because of his background in science and business, he manages drug development projects. By night, he rides and writes, but his horse is not the source of his inspiration. Rather, the constant questions in his mind are; questions about evolution, nature, and the human condition. He started writing to explore these questions and their answers, first in student newspapers, then in a magazine which he authored and published, and now in this–his first novel and shorts. L.A. has had his books narrated by a incredibly talented voice actor, Mr. Adam R. Watson, who has also lent his voice to put to music a song L.A. wrote for one of the characters. "Lusk's Song" is available on SoundCloud and YouTube, as well as on L.A.'s website. And although he would have liked to translate his own books into Italian and French, he realized that he could not do that as well as write the next books of the series for his English readers, L.A. therefore decided to run contests in Quebec and Italian universities to find translators while he, himself, has taken care of the editing of both translated versions to ensure the faithful translation of his works. Finally, with respect to making noise for his books, L.A. decided a while ago to not spend his resources doing that and instead to focus on completing the series, the final book of which should be Book 6. This does mean, of course, that the books' standing suffers, but this is not a concern for Mr. Di Paolo, and hopefully, it is not for you either.
