Jorge Titinger is the founder and CEO of Titinger Consulting, a firm focused on strategy development, the cultural aspects of M&A, corporate transformations and leadership coaching. He is the award-winning co-author (with Pedro Espinoza) of the book Differences that Make a Difference where he brings the thoughts and insights of over 130 top executives on the topic of Inclusion and Diversity, and its impact on the success of companies. Mr. Titinger has over 35 years of experience as an executive in the high tech industry and has held executive positions in the semiconductor equipment and computer industries. He is a sought after public speaker and advisor, his clients range from multi-billion dollar companies to start-ups.
Mr. Titinger is an award-winning corporate director with over 20 years of experience in public, private and non-profit boards. He has received numerous awards for his Board work; in 2023 he was honored as one of the Top 100 Directors by NACD, and in 2020 as Best of the Boardroom by Hispanic Executive magazine. Mr. Titinger has Board experience in the USA, Singapore, Japan, Germany and Peru, and serves on several public, private and non-profit Boards.
Most recently, Mr. Titinger served as the President, CEO and Director of Silicon Graphics (SGI), one of the leading global companies in high performance computing. Prior to SGI, Mr. Titinger served as President, CEO and Director of Verigy Inc., a leading provider of advanced automated test systems and solutions to the Semiconductor industry. He is involved in the start-up community both in the US and Latin America; and is a Limited Partner in several venture and private equity funds.
Mr. Titinger was named “CEO of the Year” in the Operational Effectiveness Category, by CEO World Awards in 2013, and was selected as one of the “Top 100 Latinos in Technology”, by HITEC, in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 & 2018, and in 2017, won the “Estrella Award” as the top Latino in Tech. He has led Mastermind Peer-to-Peer CEO groups for over 15 years and currently is a certified partner with LXCouncil, one of the premier CEO peer-to-peer organizations.
He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering, and an M.S. in Engineering Management and Business, all from Stanford University. Mr. Titinger was an accomplished athlete in his youth, he was the captain of the Stanford Varsity soccer team, and the captain of the USA national indoor soccer team from 1988 to 1993. He is passionate about education and contributing to the success of businesses in his community.
