Greg Buchanan is the BAFTA-longlisted author of the bestselling dark thrillers SIXTEEN HORSES and CONSUMED, starring veterinary surgeon-turned-detective: Dr. Cooper Allen. A former bookseller and farm worker, Irish and Scottish, Greg lives in the lowlands with his wife and two cats, working as a novelist, teacher, and game developer in addition to his volunteer behaviourist work with the charity Cats Protection. He is passionate about mental health and animal rescue. SIXTEEN HORSES (2021) was Waterstones Thriller of the Month, a Paperback of the Year, BBC Two Between the Covers selection, and was longlisted for the CWA New Blood Dagger award.
