Dr. Erryn O’Cain is a graduate of Florida Agricultural & Mechanical University where she earned a Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2008. A wife and mother of two, she spent the last thirteen years working as the pharmacy manager in a popular retail chain. She has always had a patient-centered approach to her pharmaceutical practice and believes that pharmacy is not about pills, but rather, people. Dr. O’Cain spends many hours listening to and addressing the concerns of her patients. She decided to write about dietary health after realizing the serious need for people to be made aware of the major impact that nutrition has on one’s health. With such information, Dr. O’Cain believes that people are better equipped to proactively address their health and to avert, in many cases, a prescriptive dependency. Erryn hopes her books, 'The Superpowers of Superfoods' and 'If Foods Could Heal' stir a dietary awakening, or at least, help those who seek the health benefits of good nutrition.
