E BRAD SMITH is an experienced Canadian mountaineer, waterfall ice climber, race-car driver, avid skier, marathon runner, and mountain biker. As a serious leader, he continuously organizes trips into the mountains. This thrill-seeker knows how it feels to stand on the edge and look down, as well as what it's like to wait for emergency services when a tree branch is lodged in your neck. Adrenaline junkies like Brad require continuous action to feed these addictions.
Brad loves to write books with the same thrilling intensity. He has written several unpublished novel-length manuscripts, including Without Water, a fictional account of the thrill-seeking Vancouver resident Rowan Lockhart, who travels to New Zealand for a whitewater adventure and finds the countryside less friendly than he had hoped,, and Alpine Addiction, an adventure thriller about mountaineering in the Canadian Rockies.
