Alan H. Goodman (http://sites.hampshire.edu/agoodman/ and @AHGoodman18), professor of Biological Anthropology, writes on how poverty, inequality and racism "get under the skin." He is the author/editor of nine books and over a hundred articles including Racism, Not Race: Answers to Frequently Asked Questions (with Joseph Graves, December 2021, Columbia) and Race Are We So Different (2012, and 2019). He is a former president of the American Anthropological Association and Vice President/Dean of Faculty of Hampshire College.
