Good in audible but I really wonder where these characters are nowadays, they are never mentioned anymore.
I still find Veronica/Roni immature but she is truly quite young.
I wished she’d stood up and dealt with her father on her own. Why she put up with him or had anything to do with him after her mother died, I don’t know. The fact her mother was an abused doormat by Reggie, should have made Roni stronger.
Just too much sex for me and I absolutely hate the c**t word used too much.
BOOK REVIEW
Not finding a lot different with the updated book.
This is the second book in the Breed series and was once again a gripping read.
Since childhood Taber has protected Veronica "Roni" from her degenerate loser father. Taber has always held her heart but as adults he also broke it.
Due to deceit on his pack brothers’ side, Taber has stayed away from Roni at what he believes is her request, not realizing that he had marked her.
The Breeds are no longer living in hiding, the world knows about them and the government is making reparations for all they have gone through.
This does not stop the council from being after them as well as having to deal with those idiot humans who come out of the woodwork at anything that is different.
Roni is angry at Taber because she believes he used her but she was also betrayed by the same pack brother and when she realises she is his mate, she is not a happy camper, until the truth about the deceit perpetrated against them both comes to light.
When Reggie, her ‘father’ suddenly turns up, it is as a chance to make money from Roni, Taber and the Breeds.
I hated Reggie and was ecstatic at how this story played out.
