that book was well written with a good plot. the narrator was also good in the way in which she spoke.

i just loved this audio , it was brilliant and cant wait to get the next in the series,. i loved also the narrator she was brilliant so much that i didnt want to stop listening to the story. Definately worth 5 stars

I have almost finished the available books in this series, so I thought it would be a good time to review.
the storyline is good.
But, all the males are the same, same personality, same wording, same humor.... when the males are single and in earlier books they have different personalities, but once they are the main character they are the same as the main Male character in every other book in this series. Ditto with the women being cardboard cutouts
While the narrator isn't bad, each main male sounds exactly same. they have their own voice when not the main character, but the same voice once they are the main character.... it makes it confusing.
again, storyline is alright - although almost the same storyline in each book.
I prefer her other series VLG

Genetically altered hot alpha males who are a little tortured and broody and a lot dominant and growly ... yeah its been done before but the truth of the matter is if its done well and it rings your bell then it works.
If your a fan of Lora Leigh's Breeds series and Christine Feehan's Ghostwalker Series then Laurann Dohner's New Species Series will hit all the right notes for you. ( and her Cyborg Seduction Series is on the list too!)
I love the fact that it is a part of a series; revisiting characters you know and learning more about them after their book finishes adds a depth that stand alone books don't always have.
This was my first time listening to Vanessa Chambers. The narration was good .... maybe not my favorite (Having said that my favorites set a mighty high standard!!) but its good, and all in all worth the credit.
I collected the whole series and was not disapointed.

I had to keep reminding myself that they are the 1st couple......hope Slade gets a bit deeper. so far Vly series gas grabbed me more. The heroines I'm those books are marvelous and Lauranns wit is amazing

Fantastic series. Fury and Elly are fabulous characters and make ongoing appearances. Love both these characters. Talented author.

I'm about 3/4 through this book. I've been reading paranormal romance for many years. I have read a few books by the author and enjoyed them. this book is dull. it's basically soft porn. sex in any story has its place but it seems to be the main focus here
