J.A. Lee hopes to inspire others to take the first steps to live a more self-sufficient lifestyle. As an engineer living in the city, gardening wasn’t always an option. And when he first decided to pursue his passion, he discovered he wasn’t good at growing plants. Undeterred, he kept learning, trying, reading, and working until he discovered the secrets to an incredible green thumb. Boosted by his continued success, he’s decided to share his passion and knowledge with others via a book on homesteading. J.A. currently resides in California with his loving wife and children. When he’s not working, he’s coming up with new solutions to the everyday struggles that crop up in homesteading life. Every day he makes mistakes, but he takes great care to always be learning, improving, and adapting.
