"The Impact of AI on Mental Health: Navigating the Digital Age for Teens, Adults, and Seniors" is a groundbreaking guide that tackles the urgent intersection of artificial intelligence and mental wellbeing. I am not a licensed therapist or clinical psychologist. I make that clear from the start. So why am I writing this book? Because I’ve lived a life at the intersection of leadership, innovation, spiritual formation, and family. I’m a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and served as a U.S. Army Ranger Captain. I led teams under high-stress conditions and trained men for war.

The audiobook is divided into units on self-worth, self-respect, and self-esteem; friendship; love and meaningful relationships; finding meaning, purpose, and direction in life; giving, sharing, and making a difference; encouragement and success; and coping with pressure, stress, and tough issues. Real teens reviewed this work, and the authors completed it with the collaborative feedback of those teens.

Why would I see the need to write about a horrible “bizarre bullying” experience that I had as a teen in the 1970s, rather than relate all of the glory days I experienced? I think we sometimes forget about how hard it can be for a teen to survive the challenges of growing into adulthood. I believe by sharing one of my own negative life experiences, I can help to demonstrate how serious bullying can be in the lives of teenagers, who are trying to grow up in a tough and sometimes cruel world.
