It’s not the charred remains of Tony Phelan that really trouble Dublin law enforcement or the traces of accelerant, so much as the bullet hole in his chest. When a weapon is recovered at the back of the still-smouldering house, it will be the first clue that the death is connected to China. And when Phelan is identified as an airport worker, the investigation begins to focus on suspicious goings-on in relation to a regular A300 freight flight from Shanghai. Walter J. Lummis is a freelance newsman, an American expatriate, who has spent his life covering the news in Asia. Now in his later years he has develop information about a plot involving China and North Korea, with Russia and Iran cooperating. Much of the material in this book comes from The Bamboo Annals, The Records of the Grand Historian, and later historians who studied those sacred texts. The bamboo annals were discovered in AD 281, inside the tomb of King Xian. The Records of the Grand Historian were reportedly written by Sima Tian and continued by his son, Sima Qian. Only fragments remain today, but the original may have been written just prior to 86 BC.

China Deception, A Novel, is part one of a series providing a behind-the-scenes look at the origins of COVID-19, as well as the relationships leading up to and shortly thereafter between China, North Korea, Russia, and the United States. All countries, with their leaders, will be intentionally intertwined by a series of coordinated events leading to the release of one of the deadliest viruses the world has ever seen.
