When an Alaskan bush pilot makes a routine stop to drop off supplies she finds the family's home strangely deserted. She enters the house and finds the entire family unconscious and thinks that carbon monoxide poisoning is the culprit. She manages to rescue two young boys then sees a man about her own age in the bathroom. He is the family's oldest son and as he's reviving a little she gets his help to move the two heavier adults to safety.
