Italian Fairy

Italy is a land forever associated with beauty: in music, in art and in nature. Down the centuries these stories were brought home by travellers, soldiers and merchants, returning crusaders, gypsies and pilgrims. Much loved and often repeated they grew in the telling to become wholly Italian in their nature - which is as much to say that today they are very beautiful indeed.

Quando apparve accanto a me quello strano tipo, anzi quel topo, che indossava calzari alati e un abito bizzarro, mai avrei immaginato che fosse Hermes, il messaggero degli dèi dell'Olimpo. E quando vidi dietro di lui quel tipo, anzi quel topo, tonico e muscoloso, mai e poi mai avrei immaginato che fosse Ercole, l'eroe greco più famoso di tutti i tempi. Zeus in pelliccia e baffi li aveva mandati a cercarmi perché voleva affidarmi una missione importantissima. Dovevo aiutare Ercole a compiere le sue mitiche Dodici Fatiche.
