Friendship Religious

Neale Donald Walsch's Conversations with God series has changed the way millions of Americans think about God. The essence of Walsch's message lies at the heart of faith—the sacred place in every person who stands alone with his or her God. In Friendship with God, Walsch shares the next part of his journey and leads us to deepen and strengthen our own bonds with God.

Friendship is one of the deepest pleasures of life. But in our busy, fast-paced, mobile world, we've lost this rich view of friendship and instead settled for shallow acquaintances based on little more than similar tastes or shared interests. Helping us recapture a vision of true friendship, pastor Drew Hunter explores God's design for friendship and what it really looks like in practice—giving us practical advice to cultivate the kinds of true friendships that lead to true and life-giving joy.

In John 15, Jesus says, "I have called you friends." But what does it mean to be friends with Jesus? In the early 1650s, theologian John Owen attempted to answer this question through a series of sermons, eventually compiled as Communion with God. The book is full of truths about having fellowship with God, but Owen's work is often a struggle for modern readers/listeners to understand.

Deep friendship with God is not only possible, it’s why he created you. Are you tired of feeling bored and disconnected from God and others? Have you read the Bible and had an underlying dissatisfaction in your relationship with God? Friendship with God is for those who have ever felt like that. Bored with God. Disconnected from others. Ashamed and hiding the real “you” from everyone, even your creator. This audiobook is an invitation to start a friendship between you and God.
