Greg Heffley is in big trouble. School property has been damaged, and Greg is the prime suspect. But the crazy thing is, he's innocent. Or at least sort of. The World Patrol Kids put on a concert in Kenya to raise money for the National Game Preserves. The next day on the safari, the World Patrol Kids run into trouble with an armed band of poachers who traffic in ivory and endangered species.

The World Patrol Kids features a environmental multi-ethnic children's singing group that takes on polluters and traffickers in endangered species. Thoreau, their youngest member, is having nightmares about a garbage monster the size of Godzilla pursuing him through the streets of his hometown. He wakes to find it is only a dream. But is it? The World Patrol Kids uncover a sinister plot behind the town's garbage problem and set out to find the criminals.

When medical waste washes ashore ruining their beach, the World Patrol Kids track down the criminals causing the problem. The World Patrol Kids are a multi-ethnic crime-solving, environmental singing-and-dancing kids group (aged 10-14) who take on polluters, climate change, and traffickers of endangered species.

Even when he was a kid, everyone thought Jeff Kinney was talented. People loved his drawings, and when he went to college his comic strip, Igdoof, was so popular that it spread to other universities! Still, Jeff faced challenges. His cartoons were rejected by syndicates that claimed his art was unprofessional.
