This section of British Columbia may have some of the most diverse landscape anywhere in Canada: from the high mountains at the western edge of the Rockies, to the desert climates of the Okanagan, to the thick forests outside Kamloops.

Vancouver Island is the largest island on the west coast, and it has not only some of the biggest trees in the world – as well as sea monsters, orca and fairly regular Bigfoot sightings – it also has the city of Victoria, recently voted the top city in North America. Once you're on the island, it'll be hard to think of a reason to leave.

This audiobook is dedicated to my home town, and to the citizens and long-term residents of Campbell River. To my best friends Brooke, her daughter River, and Chandra - who are island adventure seekers, and residents of Campbell River, withholding a deep love for everything the city has to offer.
