The Holy Quran is comprised of 114 suwar (plural of surah, or chapter), each divided into verses. The shortest surah (Al-Kawthar) has only three verses while the longest (Al-Baqarah) contains 286 verses.

The Quran, a book which brings glad tidings to mankind along with divine admonition, stresses the importance of man's discovery of truth on both spiritual and intellectual planes. Every book has its objective, and the objective of the Quran is to make man aware of the Creation plan of God. That is, to tell man why God created this world; what the purpose is of settling man on Earth; what is required from man in his pre-death life span, and what he is going to confront after death.

Surat Yunus (Jonah) is the 10th surah of the Qur'an. It is a Meccan surah named after the prophet Jonah. Arabic edition with English translation.

Surat Al 'Imran (The House of Joachim) is the third surah of the Qur'an. In Islam, Imran is believed to be the father of Maryam (the mother of Jesus). The chapter is notable for attributing feminine origins to humankind. In addition to this, it states that some Quranic verses are allegorical and some are to be understood by others. It also features a disclaimer against misrepresenting the allegorical verses as factual and asserts that a special set of people, those firmly rooted in knowledge, are to be consulted. Surat al-Baqarah (The Cow) is the second surah of the Qur'an. It addresses a wide variety of topics, including law and the stories of Adam, Abraham and Moses, to name a few. The stories are also said to help listeners to understand the theological conception of truth in Islam. Arabic edition with English translation.

الحب فطرةٌ في الإنسان تجعله طائعًا لمن يحبه، باذلًا كل جهده في سبيل إسعاده، متجنبًا كل ما يكرهه المحبوب؛ طمعًا في نيل رضاه. من هذا المنطلق كان حب الله من أصدق علامات الإيمان، وهو الدافع إلى حب رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وتتجلى مظاهر هذا الحب لله ورسوله في سير المؤمن على نهج الرسول صلى الله عليه وسلم واقتفاء أثره والتأسي به في كل شؤون حياته، على أن أسمى آيات الحب أن يجعل المؤمن هواه تبعًا لما جاء به النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، من هنا فهو يحب ما يحبه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ويكره ما يكرهه، ولكن المؤمن بحاجة....

Surah al-Ma'ida (The Table Spread) is the fifth surah of the Qur'an. It covers animals which are forbidden and Isa's (Jesus') and Musa's (Moses) missions. Arabic edition with English translation.

يتحدث الكتاب عن قصص الأنبياء الذين ورد ذكرهم في القرآن وبعضاً ممن لم يرد ذكرهم في القرآن صراحة ولم يتعرض ابن كثير في كتابه لقصة نبينا محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم إذ بدأ بقصة آدم عليه السلام وانتهى في كتابه بعيسى عليه السلام وقد سار ابن كثير في كتابه بمنهج يوحي بالثقة ويشعر بالطمأنينة إذ اعتمد فيما ذكر فيه على ما ورد في القرآن الكريم كما خلا ما يستشهد به من حديث رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الموضوع ولم يعتمد إلا فيما ندر على الضعيف من الحديث يضاف إلى ذلك أن الكتاب سلم من الإسرائيليات نهائياً وكيف لا وهو الإمام الحافظ المحدث

ما رسالة الصوفية؟ و ما رأي المؤيدين و المعارضين فيها و في أقطابها و علمائها ؟.

أرأيت كم يبدو هذا السؤال بسيطًا؟ هما كلمتان فقط لا ثالث لهما (الدين والعلم)...والإجابة المطلوبة هي كلمة واحدة فقط نعم أو لا!

يرى المؤلف في كتابه هذا أن المشكلة ليست في الدين، إنما في ذلك التثبيت الذي يلقاه والذي يصبح به، ليس في تعاليمه الإيمانية فحسب، بل حتى من أكثر تعاليمه دنيوية، خارجاً عن الزمان والمكان، بحيث يصبح كممارسة معيقاً لأي تغير في الأوضاع السائدة، من هنا كانت في الماضي الثورات والإصلاحات الدينية، ولذلك الآن فصل الدين عن الدولة والسياسية والعالم، لكي لا يستغل، ولكي نتمكن من إقامة مجتمع عصري يتعايش فيه جميع أبناء الوطن بشتى دياناتهم، ولكي ترضى الحاجات الإنسانية على أفضل وجه، وفي مقدمتها حاجة بقاء الذات وحاجة الجنس، على طريق تحقيق سعادة الإنسان التي هي غاية ذاتها.
