The issues of poverty, inequality, racial injustice, and climate change have never been more pressing or paralyzing. Current approaches to social change, which rely on linear thinking and traditional power dynamics to "solve" social problems, are not helping. In fact, they may only be entrenching the status quo. When Donald Trump announced his campaign for president in 2015, journalists, historians, and politicians alike attempted to compare his candidacy to that of Governor George Wallace. With Share This! both regular folks of a progressive bent and committed activists can learn how to go beyond swapping movie reviews and vacation photos (not that there's anything wrong with that). At the moment, the same kinds of people who dominate the dialog off-line are dominating it online, and things will never change if that doesn't change. Progressives need to get on social networks and share their stories, join conversations, connect with others - and not just others exactly like themselves.

Activism focuses on changing systems. Black activists address injustices in everything from education to the environment. Throughout history, activists have led protests, researched policies, organized community members, and more to transform the world around them. Shine a light on how activists such as Mari Copeny, John Legend, and Marian Wright Edelman have led change in their communities and worked to make justice possible for everyone.

Steht auf für ein gleichberechtigtes Miteinander, versteckt niemals eure Identität, setzt euch dafür ein, dass niemand diskriminiert wird – hier kommen die Argumentationshilfen: von Pay Gap bis LGBTQI+. Die Autorinnen machen sich (und die Hörer:innen) stark für Gleichberechtigung von Männern und Frauen, von Menschen mit Migrationshintergrund, von trans-, nicht binären und intergeschlechtlichen Menschen. Dass hier keine Unterschiede gemacht werden dürfen, sollte eigentlich selbstverständlich sein. Falls beim Diskutieren doch mal die Argumente fehlen, hier sind sie.
