Seventeen-year-old Layna is a Uniter, a guard, a former soldier, a former constable. She is a highly capable girl in a world where the first Paranormal War left the country torn. It is no longer the United States of America, but the Regions of America. The military has taken over the government and paranormals are either imprisoned, or hidden away.
