I only find decent storylines with authors like anna carven, zoey draven, Ruby Dixon.
well done ella.
we have a basic plotline that is done by all. but we also have some Romance, steam, espionage and mild political intentions mixed with the stories of each h and H finding eachother.
it wasn't cheesy but the plot, always familiar had twists and turns to keep my interest.
loved the narrators bringing this book to life.

At times I started to find the war and politics a little tedious but then it quickly became clear it was providing good context for personalities and roles in society. Pleasant space alien romance novel, not stunningly original but I really liked the balance of light hearted, some humour but not silly, romance with a HEA, smart women who have strength not just stubbornness and call that personality. I enjoyed the extra novella and that has me sucked in to want the rest of the series now, where before I'd have been content just with book one cos included in audible.
