The Throne of Hearts

Most people don't get Jesse's sarcastic sense of humor, but the joke is on him when, instead of studying for his college final exams, he takes a night job to help clean out a nest of vampires. It was supposed to be easy money, but when you take on supernatural forces you should not be surprised when you find yourself in deep trouble. Trouble comes in many forms.

Jesse is supposed to be taking his final exams for college, not trying to rescue an Angel from a Master Vampire and stop the Apocalypse. But, it seems Jesse, his friend Belinda, and the Angel Jophiel are the only ones who know that the apocalypse is near. While things quickly go from bad to worse, Jesse and his new friends soon prove that sometimes you have to dig deep and do the right thing.

When Jesse and his friends (with their new dorg Scooby) head to Raleigh, NC, in search of a kidnapped angel of the Throne of God, they expect to face impossible odds and horrifyingly undead monsters. They are right, but they also find something worse, a situation that none of them are prepared for, with the balance of heaven and hell at stake.

Jesse and his friends have been fighting to stop the apocalypse, but that is no job for a college student and a young woman out on bond newly burdened with a mantle of power. The Archangel Jophiel leads them to Sedona, Arizona, to find the Angel of Justice. But, among the natural beauty of the red rocks, they find themselves both the hunters and the hunted.
