Suddenly, at the age of 30, after just being kicked out of the military, he meets a naïve Caucasian woman 10 years his junior, and although they are not compatible in any way, he feels compelled to marry her after she unexpectedly becomes pregnant with his child. 

When his sense of duty leaves him feeling trapped, an affair with a coworker plants the seeds of his own, and his family's, future destruction - but also his resurrection.
