Mayor Anthony Podesta, now Lieutenant Governor Podesta, and Jonathan Chalmers seem on a roll as Anthony with the assistance of his “SFPD Special Branch” achieves his comeuppance upon newly minted Governor Mario Pardini. Chalmers on the other hand has a new avocation collecting red zucchettos who The Holy Father Pope Callixtus IX grudgingly hawks to balance-out certain misappropriations at the Vatican Bank, not to mention the atonement for the countless lawsuits alleging ecclesiastic improprieties.

What happens when San Francisco’s handsome congenial Mayor Anthony Podesta is faced with the harsh reality of being termed out of the office, and all his wealthy mentor Jonathan Chalmers offers him is the job as California’s Lieutenant Governor? When the political cost to Anthony's survival is revealed as a conspiracy to drain the Hetch Hetchy Reservoir and return the land back to Yosemite National Park and the Department of the Interior, Anthony is aghast at the task he's being asked to perform for an elected position of such insignificance.

Born and raised in San Francisco Author John Kiramis is a retired police lieutenant and detective sergeant who served for 31 years and upon retirement went on to became Mayor of Foster City, California, a community within the realm of the Silicon Valley. He currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife Kate and their cats Chalmers and Anthony. John was born, raised, and educated in San Francisco up until he graduated from the Jesuit University of San Francisco with a degree in rhetoric and sociology.
